Soda Ash Dense – Product Overview
Soda Ash Dense, also known as dense sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃), is a high-purity, white granular form of sodium carbonate. It has higher bulk density and larger particle size than the light grade, offering better flow properties for storage, handling, and transportation, especially in bulk applications.
Produced mainly via the ammonia-soda (Solvay) process in China, it is a key industrial raw material used in:
   •    Glass manufacturing (primary fluxing agent)
   •    Chemical production
   •    Detergents and soaps
   •    Metallurgy and water treatment
   •    Other processes needing stable, non-dusty material
Compliant with China National Standard GB/T 210-2022 (Sodium carbonate for industrial use), the dense grade falls under general industrial class (Class II), sharing the same core chemical purity as light soda ash but distinguished by its physical properties.

   •    Water Insoluble Matter: ≤ 0.04%
   •    Loss on Ignition (at 270–300°C): ≤ 0.8%
   •    Bulk Density (loose): ≥ 0.90 g/cm³
   •    Appearance: White granules, no visible impurities
